If you want to try out certain things in a safe environment, you can use your personal "sandbox" to do so.
- Create a subpage of your user page.
- Add content to the subpage.
To do so, simply add a / (slash) in the URL on your user page and append your desired page name.
Info: Always substitute spaces in the URL with underscores, when you type directly in the browser's URL bar.
Example:
http://tangowiki.org/wiki/User:Testuser/My_test_page.
You can also view this page under User:Testuser/My_test_page.
Theoretically, you can create infinite subpages, like http://tangowiki.org/wiki/User:Testuser/Test/Orchestra/D'Arienzo/recordings/view or the like.
What sandbox subpages are useful for
- Testing template handling
- Drafts/Stubs for articles
- More detailled information about yourself
