Before the creation, edition and comment of pages is possible, a user account must be set up = registration. That's quickly done!

Create user account
- Click on "Log in/Set up user account (top right)
- Click on apply
- Choose user name and e-mail address.. System notifications will be sent to this e-mail address (e.g. the confirmation e-mail for the user account, notifications when one of the pages you visit is modified, etc.) Please think carefully before choosing your user name; it cannot be changed later on.
- Write your real name and a short biography in 50 words. (You can at first fill in the space with a dummy text and later on update it.)
- If you would like to provide additional information, you can go ahead and do it.
- Read and agree to the terms of use, solve the arithmetical problem and send out the form.
- Confirm your e-mail address through the confirmation link, that is sent to you per e-mail.
- As a next step, the administrator will confirm your account. Please allow at least 24 hours for this.
- Your temporary password will be submitted to you by e-mail, and you must change it automatically the first time you log in.
- Once you are logged in, you can get started.
Image upload: commons.tangowiki.org
TangoWiki utilizes the cross-language page commons.tangowiki.org for the upload of pictures and files. All files stored here can be used in every language and don't have to be uploaded again for every language. "Commons" is, therefore, the image database common to all languages.
When you change to Commons, it may happen that you must log in again. Use the same information as for the LanguageWikis. It is NOT necessary to register again.
Problems while creating a user account?
- I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail.
- You might have entered an incorrect e-mail address, in which case your account must be deleted and you set up a new one. Contact TangoWiki's technical team. Tip: Check your spam folder first.
- I cannot login yet.
- Your account has to be manually confirmed by an administrator. Please allow at least 24 hours for this.
